The best ideas for transforming learning come from meaningful collaborations between motivated educators. Our programs provide your teachers and administrators space to creatively innovate solutions to meet students’ needs, through the lens of brain science.
Leadership Fellows Programs
K-12 TEACHER LEADER COHORT
K-12 ADMINISTRATOR LEADER COHORT
Our leadership fellows programs empower cohorts of talented K-12 teachers, coaches, and administrators with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to emerge as leaders in instructional leadership, professional learning, and building effective culture in schools and districts. As a fellow, you will explore a passion project that connects brain science with your passions and curiosities related to teaching, learning, and leadership. The one-year cohort program includes in-person and virtual professional learning sessions spaced throughout the summer and school year, personalized coaching, and a book of your choice related to the brain and learning. Act 48 and Act 45 credits are available for this program for PA participants.
Think Tank Innovators Program
FOR TEAMS OF SOLUTIONS-ORIENTED EDUCATORS
Transformational change in school learning and culture requires a purposeful integration of teachers’, administrators’, and students’ voices. PLP Think Tanks provide a framework for engaging a core team of solutions-minded educators toward a common purpose of improving their schools, grounded in research on how people learn and thrive.
PLP Partner Innovation Summit
FOR LEADERS OF PARTNER DISTRICTS
Each year, lead administrators and teachers from over twenty districts across our PLP Partner Network gather to collaboratively innovate solutions to common challenges in K-12 education, through the lens of current brain science.
Beginning in 2023, we introduced Synapse Sessions where partners presented to one another the unique ways they are leveraging brain science to advance learning and culture in their schools. Partners presented about think tank innovations, incorporating brain science into aciton research projects, aligning system-wide with research about learning, evolving schedules, Portrait of an Educator, and more.
